First Dubai Schools Maths Challenge

Hartland International School will host the first Dubai Schools Maths Challenge on Tuesday 7 March 2017 form 10.00 am to 12.00 pm.

Seven Dubai schools are taking part in this challenge bringing their Year 7 students to participate in an individual problem-solving competition and a team-based lateral thinking exercise.

The winners of the competition will be rewarded with a certificate.


Scholarship for Excellence now open at Hartland

The Hartland International School is pleased to announce the introduction of a Scholarship Programme for commencement at the start of the academic year 2017 – 2018. Applications are invited from students who are eligible for entry into Years 6, 7 or 8 for the forthcoming year. Existing Hartland students are also eligible to apply.

Ecoventure Trip

Our Year 4 students recently enjoyed an action-packed couple of days at an adventure camp in the depths of the Sharjah desert. Everyone took part in a range of exciting activities such as archery, team-building, climbing, sand boarding and abseiling. To see the pictures of the trip click here


Safer Internet Day

Safer Internet day will take place on the 7th of February 2017. To celebrate the many positives of the Internet, and to raise awareness of the issues that children and young people face online today, Hartland International will be hosting an online safety information session for parents. The session will provide practical advice and safety tips to help manage online safety issues, and discussions surrounding suitable behaviour online.


Hartland International School: a happy place where to grow and learn

As part of our ongoing effort in offering the best education to our students and the best services to our community, we have conducted a survey of all parents.

This initial survey gave us a solid foundation about our parents’ evaluation of the school and their opinions about the quality of provision and our general academic practices.

We are pleased to see overwhelming findings:

  • 98% of parents say that their child is happy at Hartland International School
  • 95% of parents are happy with their child’s progress at Hartland International School

These encouraging results will help us in delivering an outstanding programme to our students.

Sylvia Young Theatre School (SYTS) brings its craft to Dubai!

Zeina Hashem Beck, prize-wining Lebanese poet at Hartland

We had the honour to receive Zeina Hashem Beck, a prize-winning Lebanese poet at Hartland International School on Tuesday, 29th of November 2016.

Our students had the chance to receive a poetry reading by this talented Dubai-based writer and see her perform one of her famous poem from her book, "To Live in Autumn".


UAE National Day Celebration at Hartland International School

Our students and community have celebrated the 45th Anniversary of the founding of the UAE during our National Day celebration on the 29th November 2016 at Hartland International School.

Our students, parents and staff had the wonderful opportunity to come together for this special day wearing the UAE national dress and colours and enjoyed a range of activities including falcon display, UAE national dancers, traditional henna painting, Arabic food and much more.


Talking of Books - Dubai Eye 103.8
