Hartland International School operates as a fee-paying international school (British Curriculum) within Dubai that is regulated by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). All information and communication relating to school fees is approved by the KHDA.

  • The first term’s fees are due prior to the start of the academic year. A student may not start the academic year unless the first term’s fees are paid in full.
  • The second term’s fees should be processed before 8 December, 2025 and
  • The third term’s fees before 21 March, 2026.

If your circumstances change, it is essential that you contact us in advance of the deadline so that we can support your needs. Tuition fees must be paid to ensure that your child/children can access the teaching, resources, facilities and enrichment programme.

This discount will be applicable for the following students:

  1. Students enrolled in the school in or before the academic year 2024-25. 
  2. Siblings of students in the school in or before the academic year 2024-25.
  3. This Discount will be valid for as long as the student(s) are enrolled in the school.
  4. Any future fee increase approved by KHDA will apply to all students.

SIBLING DISCOUNT FOR EXISTING FAMILIES ENROLLED BEFORE 2024-2025

  1. 5% discount for the 2nd child
  2. 10% discount for the 3rd child
  3. 20% discount for 4th child and above

  • Discount rates for the academic year 2025-26 tuition fees will apply as long as the parent(s) are employed with either Emirates Airlines or Flydubai.
  • Sibling Discount is not applicable.

  • Subject to be renewed each year with mutual agreement between Hartland International School and the Emirates Group

  • The above discount can be combined with the Sibling Discount and Hartland Legacy Discount Only.
  • Marriott International Employees will not be eligible for the school referral discount if they refer another Marriot International Employee

Corporate Discount: The Airbus Employees Only

  • Airbus Discount may not be combined with another discount unless explicitly stated.
  • The above discount can be combined with the Sibling Discount and Hartland Legacy Discount Only.
  • Airbus Employees will not be eligible for the school referral discount if they refer another Marriot International Employee

School Management Concession

  • Up to 100% of the School Tuition Fees may be given.
  • Provided at the discretion of the School Management in writing to the applicant.
  • The concession may be awarded based on need or merit to key stakeholders.
  • Applicable for one academic year only.
  • Can not be clubbed with any other discount or scholarship unless stated otherwise.

Parent Referral Programme

For every successful child that enrolls at Hartland in Year 7 and above, the recommending parents will be rewarded a 5% discount on the annual tuition fee of one child. The discount will be applicable for one year and will be paid after the new child has paid full term’s fees. We offer 5% discount when we collect the fees from the parent. If the referred child joins in the middle of the academic year, the discount will be applied on the prorated fees.   • Parents with children currently enrolled at Hartland International School and who are not availing the Emirates Corporate Discount can participate in this programme.
  • Parents with children currently enrolled at Hartland International School and who are availing the Emirates corporate discount will be eligible for up to 5% of tuition fees as redeemable voucher against school lunch, school bus, school uniform and paid enrichment for referrals of students in Year 7 and above. The provided the referred child and family is not an Emirates or Fly Dubai Employee.
  • Emirates/Fly Dubai Employee availing The Emirates and Fly Dubai Group Discount and referring other Emirates/Fly Dubai Employees are not eligible for this referral discount.
  • Marriott International Employees availing The Marriott Corporate Discount and referring other Marriott International Employees are not eligible for this referral discount.
  • Referrals must be made compulsorily using the online application form.
  • If the referred child joins in the middle of the Academic Year, the discount will be applicable on the prorated fees for the remaining Academic Year.
  • Rewards will be applicable for every successful enrollment and will be deducted from the referring family’s tuition fees for one child’s fees only. In case the family has more than one child enrolled at Hartland, the lowest year group’s fees will be considered for rewards.
  • There is no limit on the number of referrals a parent can provide.
  • School reserves the right to withdraw this programme on its own discretion without prior notice.
  • Discount to the recommended parent will only be offered upon collection of tuition fees from the recommended parent.

Year 10 - Year 13 Scholarship Programme

Hartland International School’s scholarship is offered to successful students who demonstrate excellence in diverse fields of interest, exemplified through actions, passion, drive and/or leadership. The “Scholarship for Excellence” programme was launched in the academic year 2017-18 and is a grant at the school for selected candidates.

A total of up to 10 scholarship places are available for Year 10 -Year 13 applicants for September 2025 entry. Each scholarship has a maximum value of 100% of the published school fees and will have a lifespan of two years.

Application submission deadline: Application submission deadline for the Academic Year 2025-2026 is 31st May 2025.

Who can apply? We welcome applications from existing and new students who meet or exceed the entry requirements for the sixth form courses of choice and who can demonstrate excellence in one of the fields listed below:

  • Academic Excellence
  • Creative Excellence (Arts)
  • Physical Excellence (Sports)
  • Excellence in matters pertaining to Community, Civic Duty, Global Citizenship or Cultural Sensitivity

How to apply?

  1. Applications should be submitted in writing by the student.
  2. A minimum of 300 words in a letter format which should be no more than 1,000 words, outlining why they are worthy of the award.
  3. The application should be supported by any available evidence that demonstrates excellence in the area of application and handed into the school for the attention of the Principal and Chair of Governors.
  4. This letter should also be accompanied by a completed Year 10 – Year 13 Application form found on the website HERE.
  5. Applications can be submitted at the school or via the online application form.

How is it awarded?

A Scholarship Panel that includes the Principal, Senior Leadership Team members as well as members of the school Governing Body will convene to consider all applications.
The scholarship is announced to the deserving candidates after careful consideration of all aspects of the application.

*Terms and conditions:

  1. Scholarship applicants must gain a place at Hartland International through the normal assessment route.
  2. Applications for scholarships must be submitted on or before the last date for submissions.
  3. Applications received after the closing date may not be considered for Scholarship.
  4. All decisions for scholarships will be made by the scholarship committee.
  5. A written acceptance of a scholarship offer must be made within fourteen days.
  6. Students whose fees are paid for by a source other than parents, such as company allowance, are only eligible to receive the monetary value of the proportion of fees that is directly borne by parents and not that which is paid from a company fund or allowance.
  7. Scholarship Awards are subject to be reviewed annually.

Application Fees

An application fee of AED 525 (inclusive of VAT) must be paid prior to your child’s assessment. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Registration & Enrolment Fee Deposit

To secure your child’s place at Hartland, a non-refundable registration fee deposit of 10% of annual tuition fees is required within seven days of the offer. This will be adjusted against the first term of enrollment tuition fees.

Withdrawals

A WRITTEN NOTICE received one month in advance, conveying intention of withdrawal should be submitted to the Registrar. This timeframe is required to ensure all necessary documents are ready.

Refund Policy

The Application Fee, Registration & Enrollment Fee, and Re-Enrollment Fee remain non-refundable, while tuition fee refunds follow the Ministry of Education By laws for Private Education. If a student withdraws or leaves school for any reason, the refunds will be processed as follows and returned to the original payee.

• If a student withdraws prior to the start of the academic year, the balance of the first term/semester fee paid will be refunded.
• If a student withdraws during the school term/semester, the remaining tuition is refunded in accordance with the Ministry of Education for term payments:
– Fees will be charged for one full month if a student attends school for two weeks or less.
– Fees will be charged for two full months if a student attends school for more than two weeks and less than
one month.
– Fees will be charged for the entire school term/semester if a student attends school for more than one month.
